  • Natural Bran

Yesterday In the supermarkey I bought something called Natural Bran, just the bran from wheat I think

Reading the Nutritional Info it contains 8.9g carbs and 10.4g of fibre. Am I okay to add this to my diet as and when because the fibre cancels out the carbs?

    Re: Natural Bran

The book says you can have a tablespoon of bran on a salad or something during induction IF you are constipated. Otherwise it would be a thing for the grains rung.

Aside: I love the 'Natural' Bran!! What is Unnatural Bran???? Marketing speak is funny!!

Be careful....from the way you write, I'm guessing you're from the UK. If so, the UK labels their products differently than the US.

From what I understand, in the UK and some parts of Europe, the total carbs listed are the "net carbs".

        Re: Natural Bran

Megs is right, outside the USA most countries dont count fibre as a carb in the total carbs section of the label, so our carb count on packets and jars is already the net carb number to take account of.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
