  • Ugh!!!!!!!!

I have lost 15 pounds but I still don't feel like inches are melting off my waist.

I can see it in my face and legs but my waist still feels huge and it is really discouraging me. Plus I haven't lost in days!!!!!!!!

    Feeling down.

    Re: Ugh!!!!!!!!

Hey Jen. Cheer up....it will come off when it's darned good and ready. I've lost almost 30, and I keep joking it all came from my big toe, (from my boobs in reality ) but your body is going to take it off as it sees fit! Sadly, I know this cause this isn't my first time around . Stick with it!! It WILL work! And by the way, the fact that you haven't lost weight for a bit might be your body readjusting it's blubber store. Check your measurements again after you start to see pounds dropping again.....

Please don't get discouraged... You are doing Great!! If you are like me the belly fast seems to take the longest to see results. How are your clothes fitting? I personally don't like to look at the scale except for maybe most once a week - I think they are evil (LOL) - for me the fit my clothes reveal my success better.. but that's just me. Just a thought though & sorry to get kinda personal BUT- I know that when its "that time" of the month - I tend to start retaining water... Could that be the case for you?

Just stay on track - you can do this! As I heard people telling me over & over you didn't gain all this weight overnight and you are not going to lose it overnight either.

The fact you have lost 15 lbs so far and you just joined mid-December is pretty impressive to me.. I hope I see those kind of results by early-Feb.!

Have you measured? You said you feel like you haven't lost ... but if you measure you will see some results. Don't compare your progress with anyone elses. Look ahead and keep going. There are many times in my journey that I didn't feel like I was losing, but I was. You're doing great!

Thanks for the kind words. I LOVE this board!

I do feel better today. When I got out of the bath my six year old was on the "potty" and she says (ever so seriously) "Mommy, you HAVE lost weight".

          VERY COOL.
