      Re: Confused? Eggs and Carbs

Remember fitday does round fractions/decimals up or down depending on whether thay are more or less than half - so one egg having 0.6 carbs (as Dr Atkins listed in the back of DANDR) will get displayed as one carb. However when adding these numbers up fitday does use the fraction so 2 eggs at 0.6 carbs each which actually = 1.2 would display as one carb too.
4 eggs would add up to 4.2 and be displayed as 4 carbs etc.

Your egg carbs as well as any cheese and cream carbs do get included in your up to 20 net carbs, most of which should be from your veggies.

Mirya -you can get Fitday to display fibre carbs for you so you can deduct them yourself, but the free online version doesnt do the maths for you. (The pc version does do this for you if you set it up to do so btw)

You get fitday to display fibre carbs by setting a goal for fibre intake - I used to set mine as 1 - any number will do.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!
