  • How to break free of a stall?

I know I have mentioned it in previous post and I have seen others mention being "stalled"......

So give me your ideas on how to break free of a stall if you have been there a week plus?????

    THANKS!

a stall is 4 weeks with no loss on the scales or in inches, so you aint in one yet!

    keep on keeping on!

Dr A defines a stall as no weight loss OR inches lost for four weeks, in spite of strict adherence to plan. No weight loss for a week or so is just a pause and will happen often along the way.

It can be hormonal (often is, many women have up to 2 weeks a month where they just don't lose) or just your body readjusting, it can be muscle replacing fat if you are exercising more than you did (though you should see inches changing in that case).

It's never any harm though to check for carb creep or to take a look at any foods you introduced recently and see if they are affecting you.

A lot of people who stay on induction too long find their losses slow down considerably and that moving on to OWL actually speeds them up again.
