    My 2 weeks of induction have come to an end. I am going to start on rung 1 this week, 1 more cup of veggies spread about a few times a week, to see how my body handles it!
    I lost 6 1/2 lbs and a few inches on various parts of my body! I'm gonna keep going, b/c this is easy!

    Congrats on your losses so far!

    S&S its not just an extra cup of veggies, its a extra 5 net carbs, head on over to the OWL forum and check out the "Power of 5" stickie for some ideas!

      Jules ~ Welcome. Great job on your induction success. Glad to see you are enjoying the program making plans to keep going ~ working the plan as Dr. Atkins advised. You are doing great...keep active here (friends, challenges, forums), don't forget to measure, and exercise. It will happen. Keep posting so we can share your success. Whoopppeee....6 1/2 pounds down - so happy for you!

        Congrats on your great induction period. Keep up the good work! My induction ends tomorrow, but I will be continuing on extended induction for at least another 6 weeks, till I leave on my cruise! Every pound loss, counts, to get me closer to getting into last years bathing suit.

            Hey Emma - I figured 1 cup of broccoli and cauliflower was 5 net carbs. I already plan on eating my 2 cups salad veggies and my other cup of veggies is usually spin and mush and 1/2 c pumpkin. Is this right?

              Not Emma here, but - yes, your rung one veggies intake should be your 3 cups from induction plus 5 net carbs from either veg list. It looks as if you are off to a flying start, Jules
              Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

                Do the five additional carbs HAVE to come from the additional veggies? Isn't it just that the total of everything can now be 5 higher?
