  • WHoopee!!!

    Good afternoon all,
Well I got on the scales this morning (day 6) and I am down 6lbs and I have been having the most delicious meals I am not hungry between meals and I am also on my monthly and didn't expect to have lost a lot cause I usually retain a lot of water.
I have had a really stressful time recently. I live in the uk and my sister decided to run off to USA and leave her 6 children here The youngest three have now been awarded to myself and my partner as the older three are old enough to live on their own (even though they are at my house near all the time ) the youngest is disabled and has learning difficulites, I have three children of my own and my partner has four daughters. So life is very stressful. I have had to give up work to care for them all, so I am adjusting to being at home in the day and I was worried about turning to food for comfort which has happened in the past. But with Atkins I am in control of what I eat and my moodswings or should i call them foodswings??? have calmed right down. Sorry to ramble on but used to being around a lot of people in the day (working in secondary school) and now I am on my own.
thank you for taking the time to read this
much love and good wishes to you all

Think of yourself as the orchestra leader! Sounds like you are in control managing all of that AND powering through your first 6 pounds. That is fantastic!!!
