They can ship it you can have your mail held at the post office to go pick it up there. How do you get your mail normally? Justput in the same address and you should get it the same way.

The book doesn't reall have a set menu per say. You have to count the carb grams per what you eat so long as you don't go over 20g net carbs. that is Total carbs minus fiber. If you email me miryag1@fuse.net I have a suprise for you.

        Here is another possible menu

        Breakfast
        Three-egg omelette with avocado
        Mozzarella cheese and tomato
        Decaffeinated coffee with cream

        Lunch
        Beef round steak (8 oz)
Spinach and mixed leaf salad with mushrooms, onions, celery and parmesan cheese

        Dinner
        Broiled salmon (9 oz)
Kale topped with garlic, lemon and sesame seeds

sorry i was going with the assumption that she would substitute things based on what is and isn't allowed on induction.

Never assume Mirya, some people just do what is written down in front of them.

if you are not 100% sure of the answer to someones question the best bet would be to leave it. But good job on trying to pay it forward

                Good call, Emma.

Farah, until you can get a copy of the book. You NEED to read the book. Check out some of the threads in our Frequently Asked Questions Forum here http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...splay.php?f=79

Here are the Rules of Induction http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ead.php?t=6782

Here are the foods that are allowed to be eaten on Induction:
                http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ead.php?t=6781

Do not eat ANYTHING that is not on those lists! Induction is just the first 14 days of the diet. After that, we begin the Ongoing Weight Loss phase and there are different rules for that...we start adding MORE foods in. These threads should get you started though.

                  Re: Induction plan???

I had problems with shipment also, because all of those selling the 2002 version via Amazon did not ship to Ireland. I eventually found somewhere that did, by emailing several suppliers and asking.

Sometimes they list a country as a place they won't ship to - or just say they don't ship outside the USA - but if you contact them directly and offer to pay the actual cost of postage plus a handling fee of their choosing, they will make an exception. It's worth a try, one is eventually bound to be prepared to ship to your country.

ok, so this might be a dumb question...do you have to eat everything on the menu? like say, i want the avocado omelette with tomato, but i can't have the mozz for candida purposes. same withe decaf coffee? is it ok to skip out on that all together? sorry, i haven't read the book thoroughly yet. i admit, i am starting out lazy guys! thank you for your time and help!

                            Re: Induction plan???

Hi soft-things. Those are the food choices but you need not eat all of them. Take a good look at the induction list and then just cross off what you can't eat. In fact. Dr. Atkins specifically addresses candida problems in the book so read that as thoroughly as you can and that'll give you the input you need. Cheese especially is not necessary. We only get 3-4 ounces on Induction anyway, so foregoing it should not be a problem. Just eat a little more eat and fat, and you're golden. Good luck!

thanks for the reply tim! so lots of meat and lots of fat? i guess it is possible to eat too many veggies on this diet? because of carb counts?

                              thanks!
