  • Finished Induction - 2 lbs lost????

Help! I am 2 weeks into induction today and I weighed myself this morning – only 2 lbs. lost! I am completely floored. In the past, I have easily lost 10 lbs. I have followed this to the letter – no cheats, at all. What is going on? Any ideas or suggestions?

it may be that you do not have the fat content in your body that you usedto have. Possibly not enough water. If you wee exercising during induction possbly muscle weight.

Re: Finished Induction - 2 lbs lost????

There are so many things that can cause variances in your weight loss especially if this is a WOL you have tried multiple times before. You didn't offer alot of information that does make a difference, things like amount of excercise you are doing now vs last time, fluid intake, ect........ food intolerances change as well so just because it's legal doesn't mean you can eat it ........ even if you did last time your body can react different this time. The first time i did Atkins I could eat Dairy with no issue this time I can't eat it everytime I do I stall ........... It looks like from your ticker you have about 45 lbs to lose which means you would have probably expected a 4.5 pound loss as you are looking for about 10% during induction. You lost half of that which isn't horrible. Did you watch your salt intake? Are you female and if so it is close to your TOM? What about caffiene? LOL the list of reasons can go on and on the important thing is you are losing and that means your doing some things right ........ take a look at all areas of whats been brought up so far and see if there are things you can adjust if you can't find anything then maybe list your menu in the review my menu forum and let the experts take a look ........ You can do this and you will succeed! Just hang in there stay faithful to the plan and it will happen!
