  • Should I be concerned about this?

I'm on day 13 of Induction and have been doing terrific with no cheats. A good clean induction, however today, I got up at 7am, ate breakfast as I always do ( 1 pouched egg and 1 Turkey Sausage) and left the house at 9am..I was only expected to be gone for 2 hrs, but beyond circumstances that I could control, ( took daughter to the hospital), I was gone all day. There were no food choices for me and I did begin to feel weak by afternoon, so I bought a coffee ...cream and sweatner and had drink about 3 coffee's with cream and sweatner throughout my day to minimize any low blood sugar and weakness. Wow, because since I started Induction, whether hungry or not, I would force myself to eat at least every 3-4 hrs, even if it was a little out of my planned menu. Oh, this also includes very little water today...(which I'm trying to make for a bit tonight)

Of coarse I ate when I got home.....but wondering if the extra coffee's & splenda's will affect anything??

Boy, I didn't think about being prepared for something like this........a day which we couldn't get to food LOL.

Does this count as a cheat? Does it ruin my "clean" induction??

PeachyQ- I am so impressed with your 11 lb weight loss!! It looks like we have extremely similar goals...although, I only lost 5 lbs the first 14 days (on day 15 today).

I wouldn't worry about the coffee today-I bet it doesn't effect you at all.

Congratulations on having such a successful induction!! Keep it up!!

Peachy, you are doing fine.. The main problem with caffeine is the cravings. Since you were able to finish your day with no issues, that means you did great. And 3 splenda are your maximum allowance, so you didn't get over that either. You are fine..

The important thing is to know why this happened and try to be prepared for similar future situations.

Ditto Julie.. Amazing loss so far.. good work!
