hi...I'm Lori....Sunday was my first day and I have lost 5 pounds....
I am having fun with the recipes...I have tried radishes for homefries and I loved them.....the cauliflower mashed potatoes were great.....they aren't potatoes...but they are just as good....
I tried the fried chicken made with ground pork rinds...I was grossed out about the idea at first....but after the first bite I had to admit that it was delicious....crunchy outside tender inside.....very yummy...I scrambled egg with a teaspoon of mayo and onion powder, salt and pepper...dipped the chicken in that then into the crushed pork rinds....
it's kind of fun getting creative and finding new ways to make old favorites that I wasn't allowing myself to eat before Atkins...
I am also exercising everyday...I feel pretty good...a little sore, probably from lack of carbs...but overall pretty good.
