  • Husband said...

My husband wrapped his arms around me today and said that I felt smaller That made me feel great!

However we threw our son his 2 year birthday party tonight and of course bought cake and icecream for everyone at the party. I didn't have any but it was kind of depressing for me not being able to eat with everyone else. I wish that I had more time to cook so that I could have yummy stuff just sitting in my fridge all of the time for these occasions.

Then my mom and dad went to buffalo wild wings after the party and I wanted to go with them. I checked with the forum first to see if there was a wing there that I could have but the best answer I got back was wings with no sauce and that didn't sound good to me so I didn't go.

It was a really hard day for me today and tonight I am very down on the diet :-( I don't want to make anyone thing negative thoughts so I am struggling with if I should open up and let all of my thoughts out or if I should keep them to myself so that I don't cause anyone else to follow me in anyway.

ANYWAYS! I should be in bed so I think I'll head there now. Maybe I will feel better tomorrow about things.

    nite nite

Isn't it funny how we use food for entertainment? I try to focus on the other fun aspects of get togethers, and try to plan some acceptable munchies to snack on. If any one asks, I tell them I'm allergic!! (carbs make me swell up and balloon out.. )

        good one Bettertress!!

I understand how ur feeling colider, I used to feel the same way sometimes. But I now think of it as carbs dont go will with me and if i want to feel and look the way i do now, theres no way im putting my body through that anymore!! There r sooo many awesome things we can eat and enjoy!! I hope u feel bettter and dont look at as ur been cheated cause u cant eat carbs, It helps when I see ppl eating all that junk and there really big!! It justifies it in my head, that if i continued to eat that way I would be the same! stay strong and take it 1 day at a time. I'm goin through a little stall in weight right now but im goin to keep at it to get these last 20 lbs off!!!

        U can do it!!!

I have loads of down moments too. Days are really yo-yo ish sometimes. I can get up and feel really good about doing the diet and losing weight just to lose that optimism shortly after.

That's a great compliment to get from your husband! My husband is very supportive of me doing this too.

I have just joined up and read the rest of this thread. I have to say that "deek deek" is looking wonderful from the pictures too. You are getting gorgeous girl! What an inspiration you people are.

I am starting day 3 of induction today. So far I have lost 2.2 lbs too. I am very happy!

I just found a thread that gave a recipe for pumpkin, I gave it a try and I LOVE it!!! It's like eating a pumpkin pie without the crust, it's very good... It's just pure canned pumpkin, cinnamon, splenda, butter and a bit of heavy wipping cream, I heat it up and thats what i eat for dessert. I found that Land o lakes heavy whipping cream has zoero sugars and zero carbs.
