Are they a no-no now? I recall making a tasty baked chicken that called for these, but from reading some posts, sounds like people are avoiding them?

Pork rinds that have no added sugar (listed in the ingredients) are OK, but as Emma said you might experience some 'water retention' if you eat them in quantity.
As a coating for meat I imagine you wouldnt have problems.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

That's what I fear, that I'll eat them and not just use them for cooking!
