  • annnd another question about Diabeti Sweet

Did a search and saw one thread, but I wanted some clarification if possible..
    ORIGINAL THREAD.

Here's the official nutrition label: DiabetiSweet

My question is, if net carbs is:
Carb count -fiber -Sugar alchohol -HSH -glycerine = Net carbs

then wouldnt this product be zero net carbs? Isomalt being it's main ingredient and a sugar alcohol.

Reason for the question, not that I want to use it all the time, but it does add some variety with the brown sugar version and it's really tasty.

Isomalt is a sugar alcohol. Different people react differently to the sugar alcohols. For some people, their bodies react to it as though it was regular sugar. For others, their bodies don't. And then there are those who get bloating, gas and diarrhea from them. If you do a board search, I'm sure you'll find many threads about it.

My advice is during 14 day Induction period, it's a good idea to avoid anything that might potentially slow or stop your weight loss. The results you get are vital to how you will plan the rest of your Atkins.
