It seems every time I eat beef I feel bloated and heavy afterwards. My stomach usually becomes upset as well... has anyone else had this experience?

Re: Beef?
I know one other person who has issues with beef. If you feel bad after eating it, drop it from your diet. There are plenty of other meat alternatives that you can eat. I've learned that eating a food that makes me feel awful isn't worth it.
I can't eat dairy for the same reason, and here's the kicker...that's one of the food groups I'm most addicted to.~Joy

Re: Beef?
I agree with Joy - if it affects you badly then drop it from your menus.
I hardly eat beef at all as I prefer pork, chicken, fish etc and in UK good beef is very pricey as well as hard to locate!Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Re: Beef?
It can actually be quite common. Red meat requires a lot more from our systems to digest and often people can find that its just too taxing on their tummies. I would stick to chicken, fish, etc and see how you pan out. Or eat red meat in much smaller servings and see if that helps.
I'm the same, btw, with the dairy! I love ice cream but it certainally doesn't feel the same way. ;-)Start: 162.0 | Current: 161.0 | Goal: 120 | Age/Height: 25/4'9" | RESTART DATE: 09-01-2008 | PHASE: Induction
