I cant find my answer. Is there like a percentage that you should lose while on induction? After 2 weeks how much should you lose. I actually started induction before christmas and lost 9 lbs in a week. My ticker is off right now, anyways I got off plan and started induction again 13 days ago and since restarting I have only lost 3 1/2 in 2 weeks. I am bummed but also wondering why I lost so much the first time, and not so much this time.

Thanks a quick answer would be helpful

    Re: question

I think the rule of thumb is if you follow induction correctly you should lose 5-10% of what amount of what your body feels is your ideal lol.... though its usually what the loser is hoping to lose anyway. (100 loss = approx 5-10 lbs during induction).

The first time you put your body through ketosis, you'll get the most impressive results. Typically, the more times you fall off and restart, the less impressive they will be.

What you should do is use the results you got the first time you did it (the 9 pound loss) to determine your degree of metabolic resistance to weight loss---check the charts in the book. That will help you better plan the rest of your Atkins.
