    im done with week 1 today and its been fairly easy. ive done atkins before so new what too expect and although i havent got any scales or have measured myself my clothes feel looser and i feel great at the minute.

    working in holland and will not see wife and kid for another 4 weeks so am determined for her too see a difference in me.

    luckily where im staying is a swimming pool so i go in most nights and i do 100 situps aswell so at the moment im feeling really good..........i just hope it continues!!!!!!!!!

    Welcome to our international ADBB family

    Well done on getting your exercise in as well as sticking to plan foodwise particularly as you are away from home in a foreign country.

    It sounds as you are off to a good start, so keep up the good work and I am sure your family will soon be seeing 'less' of you!!

      just found a lidl supermarket today and they stock more atkins friendly food than the other ones i usually use so took advantage.im drinking alot of water too and its a bit of a success as the lads im working with were trying to get me on the beer but i just stuck too diet coke ha ha

        Congratulations! Keep up the good work with the exercise and eating right. You will even see more gains if you give up on that diet coke and just drink water!

          If Lidl over there stocks the same stuff as they do over here you should be able to get some great foods to keep you on plan.

          Their fullfat mayo has only 0.9 carbs per 100 grams for example! And their meats and cheeses are excellent.

            Welcome aboard Mike! I bet your wife will be trilled at the new and upcoming you in just 4 short weeks -- you will start to see a difference if you just keep on plan!

                hi!! it sounds stupid but i can feel a difference in my t shirts already the way they fit.as i said before when not on atkins i rarely drink water just diet sodas but now drinking it for fun!!! just going each day as it comes but not tempted too stray and its been easy really . lost over 2 stone before and still cant remember why i came off the plan, that was 2-3 years ago now only wish i never stopped !!!
