So I'm finding after I have three meals a day there is no room left for snacks at all, meaning I've used up my 20g of carbs. Last night my hubby was eating chips and I was chugging the water but it just wasn't enough so I grabbed a 2" chunk of cucumber and ate that. It did the trick I think that still only being on day 4 that I am still addicted to eat when I see other people eating
That piece of cucumber brought up my carb count by like 3-4g though and now I'm wondering if I should have just been stronger and sat there drinking my water???
On the plus side my hubby told me how proud he was of me

Hoping is right, that's taking up 4 carbs (perhaps more) of your daily allotment, and just for a lousy cup of coffee? I'm a real stickler and I'll also say to DROP THE COFFEE, because it has carbs as well, as well as caffeine, which causes blood sugar spikes in itself. Decaf means most of the caffeine has been removed, NOT that it's caffeine-FREE! So adding this coffee and sugar into the equation...no wonder you went over your carb levels!
