  • Sausage!

So, I just read the back of the package of the sausage I've chosen to eat with my eggs for breakfast. I never thought about there being sugar in it, so I guess that goes right out the door! Time to switch to the bacon! Hopefully it doesn't slow me down to much because there is 1 g of sugar in a serving, and I've been eating it for the last two days.

    Re: Sausage!

I hate to be the one to break this to you, but most bacon has sugar in it too.

You need to check the package very carefully and try to find a brand that has none.

Remember that you dont have to eat 'breakfast food' for breakfast

You can choose anything you like from the induction-allowed list - some members even have chilli or other leftovers for their first meal of the day!!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

If you're interested in sausage, one member has a recipe for it, and I guess it's amazing! I'm going to make it tomorrow. His recipe has no fillers, no sugars.

            Re: Sausage!

I found a cheap unopened sausage making kit at a charity shop last year (for under a pound!!), so now I make sausages for my DH by just grinding up some pork and stuffing it into casings. He doesnt like 'spicy' so I dont add anything to them and he says they are the best sausages he ever ate!!
