  • Back After Illness!

My first induction was Jan 4th. Over those 2 weeks I lost 13lbs. No cheating and I felt great. Just as I was about to start Rung1 OWL. I became ill with the flu and also had braces put on. I was in so much discomfort and feeling weak that I had to go after soups and couldn't pay much attention to what my carb count was. Now that I am much better and my teeth are not as tender to chew I am ready to get on track. It certainly wasn't because I gave up, hated the diet or foods.

My weight left off at about 130-132 fluctuating daily. This is where I am today after 2 weeks off the diet. Sometimes not even eating because I was so ill and in pain!. So my body is really holding on to water and my salt intake I'm sure was up there with the soups I had to eat (when I couldn't make my own).

My goal now is to get back on track and although I only have 15lbs to lose to get to my target weight. I am jumping back into induction to get my blood sugar stable and help me deal with coffee and cigarettes during this two weeks. Gotta give those up too or at least "cut back".

Today I am also starting Zyban. So I should be done with smoking over the next week or so and must work on cutting caffiene down.

So welcome me back and lets hope no more illness or setbacks get in the way as i at least get into the OWL!!.
