  • Dressing Beetroot and Feta

    Hello All,

At the risk of asking a question that someone might have asked before, I was wondering, during induction, what kind of dressings are allowed? Ceaser, Ranch and how much? Also is beetroot acceptable, I can't seem to remember and how about Feta Cheese is that allowed during induction? Many thanx!!

Hi Minu. You might want to copy the Induction Acceptable Foods list and the Rules of Induction from the FAQ section of the Board---that eliminates all the guesswork for you.

Dressings are allowed provided they do not contain more than 2 carbs per servings and no added sugar.

Beetroot is not allowed. Beet greens, however, are.

Feta Cheese is technically a "fresh" cheese and therefore not allowed.
