  • Weight Scale Addict!!

    Hello,

    I have decided this time around that I would not weigh myself for 1 month while on this WOE. I am on day 8, and I am just itching to step on the scale . Just wondered if anyone else was doing something like this and if so, what are they doing to control the urge to weigh themselves.











    Restarted Feb 4, 2008
    1st start weight 155 (2003)
    SW149/CW144/GW100
    HGT: 5'2"
    My two kids !!!!

    It's a hard habbit to break I'm a scale addict I hit it twice a day at least

    Weight 307 Lbs

    Goal 1 - Clean Induction (14 Days) DONE
    Goal 2 - Get Under 300 Lbs - Goal Met April 14, 2009
    Goal 3 - 290

    Blood Pressure at start averaged 140/85 borderline Hypertension. Blood Pressure 18 days into plan has changed to 120/78 !!! Measured April 5, 2009

      If it is something you feel really strong about you just have to keep reminding yourself why you are doing it. Maybe you should make a list and post it where you can read over it when you are tempted... or make a countdown of days left until you can step on the scale. That might take the focus off of the now.


      It is nice seeing a picture where I actually have a neck!

        I hit the scale every morning after emptying the tanks. I cant seem to stick to a no weighing routine. maybes its the mild OCD kickin in

              I have to weigh every day. This way I know what I'm eating is ok. I added flax to my diet a while back. Immediately I started gaining weight. If I was not weighing, there's no telling how much weight I might have gained. I refuse to feel guilty about it. That's just what I need to do to stay on track.

                i know im obsessing i think im scared to see it go up even though I know it shouldnt just go up but i get scared that i will step on and its up 5lbs or something

                i even got to the point I was convinced the scale was broken because it wasnt moving!!!!

                it eventually went down and then i thought hmmm 5 weeks .. 25 lbs ... am I crazy to expect it to go down any faster ? Yes that's pretty crazy indeed

                i've been obsessing .. it's gonna be that way till it gets old or i'm done
