  • Hello

    Hello everyone!

I am new here. I did Atkins back in 1995 - before I got married. I had lost 25 pounds in about 3 months. I was very strict and stuck to it. Of course, I was also younger then - I was 25. Anyway, 12 years later, a child, a divorce, etc., and I'm back. I have been on and off of Atkins and WW for the past 5 years. In total, I have lost 30 pounds, but have been stuck at my current weight. Just cannot get past it. I go up - then I diet back to this weight. Then I cheat and go up, then diet down to this weight. You know the routine. Anyway, I am posting this here hoping that I can stick to a strict induction for the next 14 days. I thought if I started posting, and had people to talk to who understand what it's like to eat just for the sake of eating, then maybe I could succeed this time. If I can do this for 14 days, I know I will most definitely move past my "stuck" point, and I will be motivated to stick to it. Anyway, just wanted to say hello to everyone, and let you know that I am here! I'll post my stats here, and then if someone could please tell me how to make a "signature", I will add it in so it shows up on all my posts.

    Thanks!

      Re: Hello

Hi Sheri - just remember this is not a diet.. but a way of life. Congratulations on your past success. You can do this - just remember you are doing it for yourself and no one else except maybe your child so you can be healthy.

      Good luck

        Re: Hello

I find that posting here and reading here helps me stay on the path. This is a place where Atkins is normal and it is good to have a home like this. So I agree, joining here probably will help you stay motivated.
