  • Pork Rinds in Induction

Can anyone tell me where it says that pork rinds are induction legal? I eat them at least once a day to curb those junk food cravings and it helps.

There isn't enough room in the book to list every variety of every food.

    Pork skins are:
fried protein & fat from an animal, with the addition (sometimes) of salt and other seasonings. If the seasonings are allowed, you're safe.

They sure helped me through some muchies attacks during induction - my favorite is the hard, thin strips lightly seasoned with cayenne.

it is considered as pork. An idea for these is crumbled up in a bowl with cinnamon, splenda and cream... MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM it really sounds freaking nasty but omg i love it.

        Re: Pork Rinds in Induction

I don't know exactly where it states it in the book but I did use pork rinds on induction. It helped me get over that need of having to have something crunchy. I found that as I got closer to the end of induction, I wanted them less and less. If you really stick to plan, those cravings will fade away.

The thing you have to worry about them is the sodium intake, it might make you retain water and that effects the scale reading. Some are better than others, I would read the ingredients. I used to take a baggie of them with me on school days but now I don't even need them really, I just use them a supplements to get a little more fat and for a fast occasional snack. Now I take baggies with raw green beats or bell peppers.
