Hi, I've just completed the 2 week induction and I've only lost 3lbs and am fairly disappointed!
I did have a Haribo fizzy cola bottle moment about 10 days ago...I ate whole packet (in about 2 minutes) and felt really woozy. But the next day I was back in ketosis. In fact, I've been in ketosis every day (well I've got to use those strips up some way
).
So I was thinking could it be that as I don't have a lot of weight to lose - only 10lbs - and am not particularly overweight? Before starting Atkin's I would say had a reasonably healthy diet but in the last 6 months I started to have fizzy sweet binges and if there was bread in the house I'd have to eat it all.
So, if my calorie intake wasn't huge in the first place is starting a diet which is fatty is giving me more calories than I need? If I eat smaller portions I get really hungry and that's when the sugar cravings start...
I know this is really garbled but I'm in a hurry but really to ask for guidance.
Have a great Friday!
