I'm 5'4'' and started out at 142 lbs on Monday and today (Friday) I weighed 136. So I've lost 6 lbs and 6.5 inches in 5 days. I didn't think I would lose this much not even a week into it! I wonder what next week will be like? Probably a lot slower. I want to lose 20 lbs. ... 4 more lbs and I'm half way there! Any tips going into the second week??

Re: 5th day of Induction
Just keep doing what your doing if you are eating on plan. Don't let the fact that you are doing so well give you license to slip. It happens. You do not want to go down that path.
Also, your weight may fluctuate depending on factors such as salt, if you are working out or not, etc. This can be disheartening to people (me) and that is why the measurements are important because you could be still going down in size but not registering on the scale.
Keep up the good work!!

Re: 5th day of Induction
It may slow down. But then again it may not! I think it all has to to with your weight, height body size. When I was doing this last year for the first time I lost 20.5+ lbs the first month. Now I was not weighing every day. I think if you do that you would go nuts. I also had a lot to lose my initial starting weight was 230 lbs. I restarted on Monday the 18th when I was 192 and I've gotten back down to 185. So don't worry so much about the speed in which it comes off. Remember... its not the destination but the journey to the destination. .... (or some fortune cookie crap like that) LOL31/F/5'7"

Re: 5th day of Induction
I'm back to the Atkins way. I started last Monday and have lost 4 pounds!! That's why I love this way of eating. I can see results fast. Which is what I need to keep/stay motivated.
Good luck and keep up the great work. I love this forum ... I'm still learning my way around!
