  • So what are YOUR STALLERS?

    This past week I gained 2 lbs on induction.
    Here's what I think stalled me:

    1. Not eating enough (busy work week)
    2. Cream & Cheese in my quiche every morning (I made it Sunday night with 6 eggs, 1/4 cup cream, mushrooms, onions, cheese, spinach)

    Although I'm not sure that #2 actually was my problem.

    I have been off induction for a long time but in OWL I have learnt that eating not enough protein stalls me. Besides that I have been okay with most foods.

        1. Not eating enough on the weekends. Rarely eat.
        2. Almonds
        3. Cream cheese
        I've been ok with potatoes, peanuts, etc.. I'm on Rung 8.

          life in general stalls me.lol

          Seriously though I have no idea I don't think I have been on ATKINS long enough to have one.

              I drink Diet Rite on ocassion and I am fine with it......however, when I got out to a restaraunt with friends I will drink a Diet Coke once in awhile and the Aspertame stalls me.

                all dairy products stall me...and make me go CRAZY with cravings.
                All wheat products stall me too.

                Nuts don't stall me, but they certainly make me nuts (with cravings)

                Anything with even trace amounts of corn syrup in any form will stall me. Beware of anything and everything!! I was drinking an "unsweetened" tea for a year...I found out that it had trace amounts (still 0 carbs per 1/4 cup serving--who the **** drinks 1/4 cup??) of corn syrup as a "stabilizer". As soon as I ditched it I had a huge loss. Look at EVERYTHING, be suspicious of EVERYTHING.

                      On Induction, my drawbacks were anytime I utilized more than 2 tbsp of heavy cream. Which - and my book isnt in front of me - isn't allowed anyways I believe. So I had to stop making big quiches because they just plain called for sometimes more than my daily allowance in heavy cream with each slice - and the calories per slice were just astounding.

                      (but delicious lol)
