  • Is there a limit to how many ounces of tofu you can have?

Hi - I've read on this forum that tofu is counted as soy cheese, and therefore acceptable for Induction. However, is it limited to 2 to 3 ounces, just like regular cheese?

I get firm tofu at Trader Joe's and it says 0 carb per serving (which probably means .5 per serving - I've heard that if it's not meat, it has to have SOME carbs in it). But I eat the whole block for lunch, which is about 360 calories and 5 servings.

Should I only be eating 2 to 3 ounces of tofu too?

    Thank you!

soy cheese and tofu are 2 different things as soy cheese is made with dairy. tofu is not. Either way I hear it allowed on induction and since considered as cheese i would imaging e 3-4oz of our cheese allowance.

i would agree - stick to the 3-4 ounces total cheese limit if you are counting tofu as a soy cheese.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
