I did Atkins 4 years ago and made it to goal. It was the best I had ever felt! I really worked hard after that to keep my weight off and then found food once again as my comfort while going through the aftermath of a divorce and getting full custody of my children. I am now closer to my highest weight than what I am my goal weight. I am back to being tired all the time, depressed and ashamed of how I've let myself go. SO...having said all that, I'm back with a vengeance and determined once again to find myself. I couldn't do it last time without this board and I know I can't do this time without this board. What a wonderful support system!

Re: Trying to find myself again after 4 years...
Welcome Stacib - I could have written most of your post, I lost 75 lbs in 2004 on Atkins and then let my emotional eating, carboholic self not only fall off the wagon, but it ran over me too many times to count. I too am back with a vengence and more determined than ever to make this my way of life from here on.
If you haven't already you should visit the STAC (second time around club). It is full of people that have done this 1 or more times and offers great support.
Again, welcome back - you CAN do this !!
Keep reading and posting,Angie
