    2 questions 1 post

Hello I placed this post in this area if it has to be moved please do so. I have 2 questions. The first is does TOM affect ketosis? And my second question is, how much should one expect to lose if any after TOM? Thanks so much for the answers, I am just feeling really lousy and would love a whooshie from TOM

I have never heard of TOM affecting ketosis. As for how much you'll lose, it's pretty individual so I don't think there is an expected amount. For me it's always about 2 pounds.

Every body is different. When I was doing Atkins years ago I lost BEFORE my TOM. Just stick to the plan.

The only mention Dr Atkins made in DANDR of any effect was this
If you start Induction before or during a menstrual period, it may take longer for weight loss to register.
However many members post that they are affected immensely by TOM/Aunt Flo etc.
There are many posts about this subject in the 'Atkins for Women' forum, which any of our female members can join if they add their gender to their signature and send a message to Bren or Laurenfra.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
