My husband and I just started Atkins yesterday and this morning he had to have coffee so I gave him decaf with heavy cream and slenda but he doesn't like the cream. I notice the half and half has less carbs than heavy cream and that's what he wants to do. Is that OK on Induction?

Re: half and half
I think so less than one carb per tablespoon and I believe Dr A allowed 3 tablespoons per day of cream either heavy or light.Originally posted by bythreeMy husband and I just started Atkins yesterday and this morning he had to have coffee so I gave him decaf with heavy cream and slenda but he doesn't like the cream. Re: half and half
Dr. A said heavy cream. I don't like heavy cream either so what I did was water it down. Sounds simplistic, but it works!
He won't know the difference if he doesn't see ya do it
Buy a pint of half and half..dump it out and pour the heavy cream in it with 1/3 of it water. Shake the bejeebers out of it and
put that in his coffee.
Yeah. Yeah. I know its sneaky...but what he doesn't know won't hurt him and it'll help his waist line
