Hi all! I was on induction for about 2 weeks about 3 weeks ago and then went off to Italy for 4 days, and really wanted to try "authentic" italian foods. I did pretty well. I did have carbs...I had pasta one day, pizza another, and gelato the last day. i tried to space it out so I wasn't overwhelming my body. I was also walking at least 8 hours a day. Of course I got out of ketosis...that I knew...so I started again on Saturday. Which is fine with me.
Problem is it's Tuesday morning, and I am still not in ketosis...when I did it before I was in ketosis on day 3 and this is already day 4...I am afraid that I am doing all of this and just eating too much fat and probably gaining...i don't feel like I am, but since I don't have a scale I have NO idea. I have been walking every day for about 5 km.
Here is an example of my menu yesterday:
breakfast:
2 boiled eggs
hamburger patty (homemade)
1 cup of cucumber
1 cup coffee with cream 1/4 packet of splenda
Lunch:
1.5 cup of arugula
Tuna with mayo (2tbsp) mustard (1tsp)
snack:
pepperoni stick (less than 1 gram carb)..shouldn't eat it but I needed to eat something
Dinner:
1 cup broccoli with 2 tsp of soy sauce
Chicken wing and thigh. - no skin
50 grams of pate
On fitday:
it said my level was all good. and had 20 carbs...1700 calories...but this is what it has been like for the past 3 days...is this normal...it was sooo easy to be on ketosis last time, and this time NADA! But also..I haven't been feeling that sick...just a little nauseous yesterday...but no big headaches...especially since i think I wasn't soooo carb loaden this time starting. am is supposed to feel really sick to know that I am changing over?

Approx starting weight: 180
goal weight: 145-150 (feel the best at this weight and can maintain)

clothes: 14 (but becoming baggy)
