    Hello!

I think Waitrose do a mayo with no sugar.

Sausages - they are really meaty but (if you like that), Sainsburys taste the difference do Scicilian sausages that are just 0.7g carbs per 100g!

I can't help with the bacon, I have yet to find nitrate free in the UK so just use the regular stuff (check no sugar).

      Hi
Welcome to our international ADBB family

Before I bought my sausage stuffing kit (50p unopened at a charity shop!!) I used to buy german style sausages like bratwurst at Lidl. Only meat and spices in them.

Now I buy belly pork and mince it to make my own sausages.

As for mayo, I havent found any with no sugar, but did find that Lidl fullfat mayo has only 0.9 carbs per 100 grams, so I use that. Many people make their own with no sugar at all in it.

Again, bacon seems all to have 'some' sugar listed in the ingredients as it is used in the curing process I gather. So look for the one with the least carbs. Lidl unsmoked back bacon lists 1g carb per 100 grams, and Waitrose has a thin smoked streaky with zero carbs listed.

Make sure you take your specs with you if you need them for fine print as the labels are often teeny tiny fonts!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Thankyou, very much. Wow, 50p at a charity shop. That's a good buy then. But it would be to much hassle for me to make my own i think. I think i'll try looking around. if not i'll just have to go without! :P

          Hi Angie,

Waitrose have bacon and ham without sugars. The bacon does have nitrates though. The bacon is the brown flat cardboard package. The ham is one of their own brand, but can't remember the exact name.

Good luck! Just read the labels on everything and you'll be fine.
