  • Headache!

Im in my 7th day of Induction and yesterday I had this extremely strong headache, it was behind my right eye and went all the way to the top of my head, I know that the lack of glucose gives you headaches, I was wondering if should eat something, drink or take something to make it go.

No cheating in my induction, so I dont want to start doing something that could compromise my effort, cause Im doing quite well, posting my weight loss on Monday 24th

Thanks for the advices and have a great day

    Re: Headache!

I'd take something, if I were you (check the label though for hidden nasties). This could be a rather delayed form of induction flu and if so, should pass soon. Haven't heard the glucose/headache theory before.

Hope you feel better very soon.

      Re: Headache!

it sounds a bit like an ocular migraine. Have you had those before? Did you see shimmering like lights in one eye before the onset of the headache? I get these often. As soon as I start to see a glimmer of light in my eye(s) I pop two rapid release tylenol and go lay down to rest my eyes until the tylenol kicks in. That way I can ward it off.

Good luck though. I'm sure by now your headache is gone.

        Re: Headache!

I'm on week 2 of induction and I've had a headache since the first few days. I will say everyday it seems to be getting a little better. I'm going to give it until the end of this week and see how I feel then. Everyone around me is sick so that doesn't help either.

          Re: Headache!

Thanks for the advice, It was a very intense pain, but mostly in one side of the head, I think it might be mostly related to the fact that Im suposed to use glasses, but only to drive and I havent use then cause they broke, but I think its also the lack of glucose, my dad is a doctor and he explain to me that the brain was feed by glucose, so when we dont eat sugar the brain starts to send a message and that is the headache among others. Well that is a very simple way to explain it hehehe

But I still have a little headache that goes away from time to time, the thing is that now I have conjuntivitis, I dont know the word in english, but is an eye infection :S the weather hasnt been nice over here so it has been dry and a lot of dust in enviroment, maybe that has something to do also.

Well thanks again for the advice...
