    Happy Easter to me!

    This was a very inspiring week for me that ended right back where I began 1 year ago, Easter 2007 when I had reached a personal HW of 170. After getting real with myself and admitting I had grown at least one size with none of my clothes fitting I put myself back on the scale, this time 187.4 lbs. No hiding any more. Although scales can be unreliable, I am sure that this was a number I was meant to see. So here I am and I will be starting the Atkins WOE for what is actually the first time on March 24! I am excited and nervous, wish it was tommorrow but as a cook who is hosting Easter I am preparing to start out fresh without massive temptations. I am really happy to see this board always thriving and full of progress. Looking forward to really joining the Atkins community! Happy Easter to me and to you!

        Nice to have a fellow Canuck on the boards! Canadians love their Easters and tend to spend alot of time with family and food over the next several days. Stay strong and remember to post every day. The people on this board are awesome and a great source of encouragement and accountability!

          Thank you! Now this is exactly what I am talking about, the support on here is amazing and to see what is achievable helps in such a major way! I am excited to get to know you all and do this together. I have a 19 month old baby girl and I know I need to figure this all out so I can help her have a positive body image....this is my time and I am so happy to be here. Thank you so much!

            F/60 yrs/5ft 5.5" (Though due to collapsing vertebrae I am now only 5'3" - but I refuse to recalculate my BMI )
