diarrhea...sorry if TMI

Wow! I know this is kind of gross...BUT I've been on induction for a week now and for the last 3 days have just had HORRIBLE diarrhea!! Not sure what's going on!! I am also on Seasonique birth control where you only get your period once every three months (I am not due for another 3 weeks) and have been spotting for the past few days too..connection? As far as the diarrhea goes, any clue what gives?

Here is a typical day:

Breakfast: 3 egg omelet with bacon and cheese

Lunch: Chicken breast and broccoli

Snack: Sugar free jello

Dinner: Cheeseburger (of course no bun!!), and maybe some more broccoli


I haven't varied too much outside of chicken and ground beef because I am not a huge fish fan...I have had 7 pounds drop off and I'm drinking about 72oz of water a day...since the diarrheastarted, I've been drinking even more just to stay hydrated.

I'm okay with it, except at work it can be kind of embarrassing to get up and go to the bathroom every 45-60 minutes!! HELP!

I had it too, I've actually had it since I ncreased my fat intake. This weekend I had a stomach bug and had even worse diarrhea. It seems to have passed now, I'm not sure if it's related or not but a few people told me it could possibly be a yeast die off, so I dunno!. As for the bleeding This could answer your question.

Thanks for the quick response Yeah, I sure hope it stops soon!! I guess it's been about 3 days now and I'm just sick of it! The article was informative but more so on the reasons for missing a period not bringing bleeding on. But I'm sure it just has to do with the hormonal differences. I'll just keep an eye on it. I go for my annual in another 6 weeks so I should be okay until then.

I was having it to but not so much anymore. I am not sure what it was but someone mentioned that it might be the jello i was eating- but it's fine now so I am not so sure it was. I say just wait it out a few more days and see what happens. The sugar free jello does have sweetner in it from what I remember. As far as the spotting, that is probably normal as this det does balance out your hormones a lot so I wouldn't worry about it unless it happens more than this first two weeks. Then i would ask your doctor.
