  • My first day.

I find that I am not hungry but I can't stop thinking about what I can't have anymore.
Does this go away? I have been drinking water when I start to think I want something. I keep thinking of what I want to achieve and eating carbs and junk will not get me there.

Will this feeling of wondering what am I doing get better? Will I stop thinking of carbs?

I feel like a junkie going through withdrawal.

Try to focus on what you can have instead of what you are giving up for your future better health and smaller body.

Good for you for drinking your water and thinking of what you want to achieve too - I am sure it will get easier if you can stay on plan

Maybe there are some really 'decadent' foods you can have on hand to help keep on track - I found that being able to eat some runny Brie or a plate of king prawns in butter (insert your own lowcarb favourites which would be off limits on any other 'rabbit food diet') kept me enjoying the food on induciton till it started to become a habit.

Once you have 'detoxed' from carbage you will feel better about it and about yourself too!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Hummm, Elizellen is absolutly right. First, there are very few foods that we are going to lose for life, sugar, flour, refined crap, chemical laden junk food, but really we can just about eat everything once we are back to normal, and if it's not the real thing, someone has come up with a recipe for a good or better even close second.
What do you miss the most, Ill bet I can find a low carb version of it.
