    I have noticed that when I do drink 2 litres or more of water per day, the next morning I step on the scale and it either did not move OR gained maybe 200 grams.

    I have not started to exercise yet, so this is just plain dieting for now.

    Anybody have this happen or know why?

    Your sodium intake could be making you retain water. At least if you know it's water it'll go away.

      Water weight can be frustrating....but yep its only temporary!! :<) watch your sodium intake-

        I found this happens to me as well sometimes. Try maybe drinking most of your water earlier in the day and stopping at a certain point. I had to do that anyways to keep myself from waking up in the middle of the night for potty break. LOL

          I usually stop drinking about 7pm or earlier sometimes depending on the day. Potty breaks at night are not the best. hehehe.
