  • Confused

I am currently using the free version of Fitday to log in my foods every day.

I set my goal for the "dietry fibre" I put 1 for min and 5 for max.

Why is the program not showing me the fiber category.

All this time I have been using total carbs and not the net carbs.

    Help!!

    Thanks.

    Not sure what you mean
The goals are not linked to how fitday counts carbs. It counts total carbs (but tells you how much was fiber and you have to do the math)

      Re: Confused

Hi Mary - have you looked at the 'Food details' table which appears when you click on the name of the food? The fibre count should appear there, also it should display in the total calories eaten today table beside the pie chart on your Food log page.
As Liv said, you will have to do the sum yourself to calculate the net carbs.
The only way to have fitday do the sum for you is to get the 'pc' version which does just that once you tell it to.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

        Re: Confused

I've actually been counting the carbs too, instead of the net carbs. ACK! Why I didn't think of it I'll never know. Since I don't have the PC version I just subtract the fiber from my carb total for the total net carbs.
