I've made it a full week and I'm very happy with the results. I can't believe last Sunday I got on the scale and it said 199.8. That was the last straw! I started my weight loss at what I weighed the following morning, but I'll never forget almost hitting 200 and NOT being pregnant. that was my highest non-pregnant weight EVER! I've exercised my hind end off and watched very cafefully! Yesterday was a true test as my mom invited us for lunch and I made sure to call ahead and ask what she was making. Of course, nothing I could eat, so we stopped on the way there from church and picked up salads! No cheating there! Then I had a work dinner that night and we went to Ruby Tuesdays. Thank goodness they have an Atkins friendly menu! Had the Creole catch brocolli and Califlower. Only problem I had is I know I ate too many veggies yesterday, but it could've been a lot worse. While other people in the group ate "regular food" I really didn't miss it. That felt very liberating! I'm ready for another week! Thanks to everyone on this board. Reading your posts has really kept me motivated!

Congratulations!!! Keep it up!!
Our lives are made
In these small hours
These little wonders,
These twists & turns of fate
Time falls away,
But these small hours,
These small hours still remain. We'll get by, It's the heart that really matters in the end. Rob Thomas, Meet the Robinsons

Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
