  • Sleep Stuff - is this normal?

A couple of weird things about my sleeping - first, I hardly seem tired at all, I wake up even earlier than normal (like, 4:00).

Second, when I have a nap, which I do because even though I don't feel all that tired I feel like I should get SOME sleep, I wake up feelinglike I've been drugged. Just unbelievably so.

Third question, unrelated - even though I'm making lots of "trips", I don't feel like for all the amount of water I'm drinking that I'm making enough trips. Not really a question, an observation I guess. But I don't feel puffy.

    Thanks,
    Sue

Okay, it would seem that no one wants to weigh in ang give advise... BUT, I would suggest that if these symptoms persist, go see your health care practitioner. From my unprofessional experience, I dont recognize any of your problems, except for the energy burst and night wakings. Make sure that you are taking all your vitamins and supplements. Your health is the most important thing and I urge you not to mess around with it. Please let us inquiring minds know what happens, ok?

Re: Sleep Stuff - is this normal?

I had some seriously weird sleep stuff going on during the first week of induction...like you, I was not tired and woke up really early...and when I did sleep I had the most vivid and crazy dreams that I have had in a long time. It's better now...still having some weird vivid dreams from time-to-time but they're not as bad now...and my sleep patterns are getting better as well. You kinda have to re-train your body I think...just make sure that (if you can) you set a routine bed time and when you go to your bed - go there to sleep...not read...watch tv...etc...this seems to really get you ready somehow for sleep...seems to work for me anyway...

      Good luck to you...

I have the exact same problems you are. Maybe we are just weird? I'm up before 5am every day but trying to nap for "some sleep" in the afternoon, but then feel out of it after. And I make at least wo trips each night which is unlike me. You aren't alone in your confusion.
