  • New Guy--1 week in(9lbs down)

Hello Everyone! I'm Andy. I started on 4/17/08 and have been reading all the posts and decided it's time for me to start.
I was 210-212 in this picture below and was 206 when I started last week. This morning I was 197. I'm pumped. This time last year I was 218, so I am hoping in a short amount of time to see 190 then 180 to probably 175-170.

Ditto on the men lose faster comment! My husband and I could eat the same thing and weight melted from him, effortlessly while the sweat on my brow usually shows!!

Re: New Guy--1 week in(9lbs down)

I haven't posted an update in a while, but I'm down to 184 as of this morning. That's over 30 pounds from this time last year. I feel great and was shooting for 175-170, so I should be there inside of another 45-60 days. Then I will reevaluate where I should be based on how I look, at that point. I've been going to the gym alot and my diet is for the most part, consistently, Spot On!

I will get some new pics soon, but this one from a couple years ago is the same weight as I'm at now. I even dug around and found that blue shirt that hasn't fit in two years and I feel more comfortable in it than ever. I've been going to the gym alot and my diet has been consistently, Spot On!

                  Congrats Andy!
You must be feeling a lot better minus 30 lbs. And with the work outs.

Just wanted to give an update. I'm currently at 165. Completely surpassed my goal weight and looking at 155 as the next(and near final GW).

These are not real updated...but they're probably at 175. I was in size 33"-34" here and am now in 31"s
