Since alcohol disappears when you cook with wine (i think) is it okay to cook with wine on atkins?

Unfortunately that is a myth as not all the alcohol does disappear.
I found this handy table which tells you how much of the alcohol remains depending on cooking methodSo once you reach the OWL rung #5 which allows wine you can use it and see how your body copes with it, but wait till then just to be safe.Preparation Method .. . . . . . . . . . . . .Percent of Alcohol Retained
