    Any suggestions? I have tried Benefiber (counting the carbs) and it really doesn't seem to work. It's great that you can't taste it, but it's inneffective.

    Oh but I am so happy that I'm another pound down though! Woo-hoo!

    This may sound terrible, but I have a feeling if I went, I'd probably lose another pound.

    Does the book go into this at all? I'm still waiting for my copy to arrive.

      That doesn't sound terrible at all. I've had that feeling before The book actually recommends a couple teaspoons of flaxmeal.

        You can have flaxmeal (or psyllium) in induction...but only enough to relieve constipation. Start with one tablespoonful and see how you go. It might take a couple of days to be effective. It's very important to drink loads of water with flax, or you run the risk of it having the opposite effect!

        If you do a search, you'll find lots of ways to use the flaxmeal. I'm partial to the flax crackers with butter or cheese. You can also just sprinkle it in your salads. Make sure you use the ground flax always, not the whole seeds.

        Edited to add: the other thing that works well for me is cooked spinach. Worth a try.
