  • Day 2 for me

I was just wondering if you can eat canned cornbeef? I looked at the label and it said 0 carbs but I could not find it my book. (could be in it I just can't find it)

I find today I am craving carbs more than yesterday.

I eat it - but you do need to look at the list of ingredients on the label to check no added starches or sugar.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

The one I was at has sugar listed at the bottom of the ingredients but has no carbs. How does that work?

        Re: Day 2 for me

In the USA they are allowed to make the 'serving size' for which they give the info very small, like a spoonful so the numbers come out very small. If the number of carbs per serving are less than 0.5 then they can claim zero. But of course if you eat say 10 servings of something claiming zero carbs but with 0.49 carbs in each of 10 servings then you are eating 4.9 carbs and not zero - which with only 20 carbs as a maximum gets a bit carb-heavy.

Outside the USA they list the nutrition info for a larger quantity like 100 grams (3.5 ounces) so can't get away with something sneaky like that.

So it is one of those 'read the labels' situations. You might find that another brand of corned beef has no sugar listed in the ingredients.
