    Just curious how these ratios were obtained. I can't find it in the book.

    It's not in the book. I'm assuming where the ratios came from are the meal plans that are in the back of the book. Possibly someone plugged them into fitday and saw those percentages for the meals?!??! Not sure...just a guess. I've never tried to obtain those percentages but it always ends up that way (or close) at the end of the day per fitday.

      Nichole is right, it isnt laid out in DANDR but an analysis was made of the induction menus by Duke's University which resulted in those ratios.

      I didnt make a note of a url reporting this so cant give you the source I am afraid.

      Once I discovered fitday and entered the meals I had been eating I found that my ratios worked out at about those without knowing it!
