Hello Everyone :wave I'm a newcomer to the forums. However, this is not the first time I've tried this diet. In 2002 I tried it and lost almost 70 pounds and I felt GREAT! Due to certain circumstances I came off of my diet and gained my weight back plus more :sadblinky I currently weigh around 325 and I am 5'5. I have decided that I am sick and tired of feeling sluggish and lazy and ugly. I'm ready to hop back on the horse and try it again. The only problems is....today was my first day and I already cheated! :yikes I drunk a sprite and eat a little bit of spaghetti.
I was doing good until my mom started fixing spaghetti. I'm really angry at myself. I can't believe I cheated on the first day!!! Ughhhh!
I got so hungry and the cravings were unbarable.
What are some good snack foods? I don't have the atkins book but I have another book, it's called....The Carbohydrate Addicts Diet. I'm going to try again tomorrow and this time I'm going to be stronger.

Today is a new day and I'm doing great so far. So far I have eat 2 pieces of turkey bacon and some cucumber and already drunk two bottles of water lol. It doesn't sound very appetizing but it was actually pretty good and for once I'm not sleepy and tired after eating. I can actually do this! I'm trying to get my mom to do it with me. My BF is doing it with me, but I only get to see him about once or twice a month so, it's still kinda hard. I hope to have lost at least 20 pounds by the time I see him again. He's lucky though, he only has 29 pounds to lose to get to his goal weight of 180 lol.
