  • today is my 1st day!!!!

    im really pumped to get started here, any advice? or suggestions??? what snacks are positive if i get the itch??

    Do you have a copy of DR Atkins New Diet Revolution, 2002 addition? That will be the most helpful tool you could possibly own. I have thinks like pepperoni, (low sodium with no sugars of course) an ounce of cheese, hard boiled egg or make up some deviled eggs...I also make these delicious cheesecake muffins, completely induction legal that are such a great treat. Also I make my own sugar free jello, the recipe for that is also in the recipe section.

    The very best part about this diet is those cravings for sweets will go away very soon

      Welcome to the board Kenny ! Besides reading DANDR 2002 like jsj pointed out I would suggest reading some of the FAQs. Just peruse the board and read as much as you can!

      Some snacks I like are deviled eggs; veggies with ranch or blue cheese dressing; deli ham, turkey, and cheese roll-ups (you can add pickle and cream cheese or mustard and mayo to them); celery with cream cheese; and pork rinds with sour cream seasoned with chili powder and garlic powder.

      Make sure to eat veggies, limit your cheese intake to 3-4 ounces per day, drink at lease 64 ounces of water per day, and exercise.

              Welcome!!! I make a huge legal veggie platter (listed under salad and other veggies in DANDR 2002) with different cheeses and assorted meats. I like to make it over the weekend and it helps me throughout the week. I just grab and go.
