  • my second day!

    I need lots of encouragement. I'm really hoping this diet works for me.. I've recently been really depressed about my weight.. I thought I was comfortable with it but i'm tired of being chubby. I work out 4 days a week and ea right but I can never seem to lose weight but gain it. I eat 4-5 small meals a day too..I think i have a stubborn metabolism and no other diets have worked for me. I end up gaining weight! =( Yesterday I was at 145.. I just weighed myself and I am 141, perhaps because I haven't eaten yet. This morning I was late to class so I've been on an empty stomach for 3 hrs until now! My jaws are sore from chewing so much meat hahah. Oh and I am also on my menstrual cycle which is totally killing me because I'm craving chocolate SOO bad. ahah and I'm bloated which feels like I'm gaining weight =(. Thanks for listening!

    2nd mini goal 135 (buy 2 items) GOAL MET! 6/16/07
    3rd mini goal 130 (mani & pedi)
    4th mini goal 125 (new shoes)

    How long have you been on induction?

    Many of us find that around 'that time of the month' we feel bloated and crave chocolate, so you are not alone
    Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

    F/60 yrs/5ft 5.5" (Though due to collapsing vertebrae I am now only 5'3" - but I refuse to recalculate my BMI )

      Hi, am on my 4th day of induction with a mild headache. I too am hoping this will work for me I weighed in on my 2nd day and I was down 3lbs. We will get through this. Keep up the good work. I have bee n using the posts from the before & after as my motivation.

        thanks for the support! this is my second day. elizellen, I'm glad I'm not alone! angellgyrl, I am also looking at the before and after pictures for motivation as well!

              You are definantly doing the right thing and all cravings I believe will come to an end as long as you dont give in! Best wishes with your new found sucess! You will be looking and feeling great in no time!

                oh man I just weighed myself after dinner and I gained back 3 pounds! yikes! i feel so discouraged. I've been having a huge headache all day today too =(. thanks for all the support i really appreciate it!

                  Try not to weigh yourself daily or multiple times a day...you'll become discouraged. Your weight fluctuates by pounds daily. Could you try weighing yourself only once a week at the end of the week? Chin up!

                      Congrats on the 4lbs thats great.

                      I totally understand the scale addiction, I used to step on it when I woke up, after I ate, and after visiting the restroom. I finally had to put it up, it was controlling my mood, not just telling me how much I had lost.

                        I too have been fluctuating like crazy but its true the scale is only reliable once a day or better yet once a week. I restarted 2 days ago and already I am back down 3 so hang in there and drink TONNES of water!!
