  • heavy cream?

what is heavy cream? I need some clarification on this because I've been getting different responses. Some are saying its whipped cream, some are saying its cool whip, some are saying its coffee creamer. Those answers don't seem right and induction friendly.

    Re: heavy cream?

if you go right next to the milk section, you can get what is called "heavy whipping cream"

its not WHIPPED cream, or WHIP cream...which is the stuff like cool whip that you put on desserts. its "heavy WHIPPING cream", its a liquid.

ie: half & half, is part heavy whipping cream, and part milk.

For any UK members wondering . . .
Heavy cream is called double cream over here.
