  • Fallen off the wagon, and the wagon kept goin without me =(

Well - I have fallen OFF the wagon, it kept on going without me.....

I dont know if this has happened to anyone else, I had something I was looking forward to in June, now its not going to happen. That was my kinda lil push to keep me going, and the past two days Ive cheated like no other. Gained a good 5 pounds =*( . :sadblinky

Im going to start again tomorrow, and hopefully I will be able to lose those pounds as quickly as I did the first time.

I am so upset, that I let myself down...... Ive had really good willpower over the past few weeks, its just that for some reason I had NONE over the past two days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

get back on it again! you can do it.I was the same as my i was looking forward to something that was not going to happen. But just think if that times comes again or if are in august or whenever and there a chance you can have a vacation or do somthing if you still to it now you be smaller on the beach, smaller in a resturant..and fitting into that little black jess.

Kepp going, i have every faith as im terrible but sometimes you need a push. :hug

      Hi.

It looks like you were doing an Extended Induction....Were you bored with your food choices? If so, you should consider either moving onto OWL or a modified OWL after you get back into ketosis. I've read too many posts from too many people who've "fallen off the wagon" doing an Extended Induction because they were simply getting bored with the limited Induction foods list. It's pretty sad to read someone confess to cheating on their 5 month Extended Induction because they ate a couple of strawberries or a quarter of a fresh peach, especially in light of the fact, if that person moved onto OWL, they would be enjoying those types of foods "legally".

Anyhow, you'll have to do some soul-searching now and figure out what triggered you to fall off. If it was the limited food choices on your Extended Induction, consider moving onto OWL. If it was your emotional state, consider formulating strategies to combat cheating.

Well, you don't have to start tomorrow.

Why not start right now? You know, the sooner you get rid of those ookie carbies from your body you're that many hours closer to being fit and thin!

The wagon's not really pulled away. As with most vehicles, you just forgot where it was parked (Aisle 7, row 4 near the cart return).

Awwww you all are so great. I do need to do this for my health (I have really bad asthma) and of course, summers coming, and for ONCE I would actually like to feel GOOD in my swimsuit... Maybe feel ok not to wear a tshirt.

Thank you all so much for the encouragement, god did I need it!!!

Cleochatra- Would you believe that is right where the wagon was? Haha :joy

Not2late- I didnt get bored, Ive just had a rough time lately. I actually like all the induction foods, I do however miss my fruits, so after the next two weeks, Ill have a few berries everyonce inawhile to keep me going.

Again..... Thanks so much, you all made me smile, laugh a lil, and I took a good hard look in the mirror today.... Those 5 pounds I gained made a difference. Not only do I feel icky, I look it too!!!!! Plus I have NO ENERGY whatsoever. Feel like a bump on a log :anger :anger

            :hug Hugs to everyone :hug

Shashee your post is just what I needed to see. I lost 45 pounds last year, gained 10 back over the holidays, and need to get back on the wagon to drop 30 more (I feel so huge even "saying" this).

Whether you know it or not, you've helped motivate me on this cold, dreary morning. You can do it and so can I!!! :nod

                      Let's get going girl :guns

Shashee, you can do it! Break it down even smaller if you have to. Make it one meal at a time, then work your way up to one day at a time! Oh, as an aside, I have been asthmatic my entire life. I started this woe in the middle of August, 2004, and since then, my asthma has never been better. There are so many benefits to this woe and getting fit! Hang in there!

                            Hi sashee :wave
I found that if I planned a whole week's menus in advance it was easier to stick to it.
And you have got rid of any no-noes in your fridge and cupboards too so they arent calling your name!! :hug
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
